In the UK, around 90% of old workwear is sent to incineration or landfill – that's approximately 30 million items of uniform (or 15,000 tonnes) each year. That is a staggering amount of wastage.

As of today, we are delighted to officially launch our campaign to help our customers go greener! In support of the ‘Make Everyday Earth Day’ campaign, we want to play our part in helping to reduce the waste produced by workwear. Rather than sending your old workwear to landfill, send it to Prosafe and we will repurpose your workwear and turn them in to industrial rags! Not only will you be reducing your impact on the environment, it will help your business meet ISO 14001.

We've made it easy to recycle your workwear

1. Simply make sure your employees give you their old workwear and store this until you have a full box or consignment. At the moment, we are accepting polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, tunics & shirts.

2. Let our sales team know and the next time we are delivering we will pick up your old uniform. Please make sure they are washed prior to collection.

3. That’s it! We will look after the rest, your old workwear will be recycled and turned in to industrial rags.

Note - don’t worry if your clothing has logos, we will remove any branding!
